Chicago, IL – Snaidero USA says it produced a large high-rise cabinetry project in Chicago for the luxury Residences at St. Regis. The order included 371 kitchens, 854 baths, 203 powder rooms, and 47 laundry rooms.
Snaidero also provided cabinetry for the building’s 22 custom penthouses, two duplexes, and the Level 47 Amenity Space – a residents’ area including a demonstration kitchen (top), a wine lounge, a golf lounge, and grill area.
Known as the Vista Tower when construction began, when completed the 101-floor and 393-unit Magellan Development project became Chicago’s third-tallest building (and the 10th tallest in the U.S.) at 1,198 feet. Occupancy began in November 2020, while final construction will be completed in third quarter 2021. Residences are priced from $1 million to $18.5 million.
It is the 22nd luxury high-rise development by Snaidero USA in the city in collaboration with its local partner, Studio Snaidero Chicago. The cabinet finishes were customized to fit the project’s gem-inspired design, which begins with the unique architecture created by award-winning architect, Jeanne Gang of Studio Gang, and carries over into the themed interiors by Hirsch Bedner Associates.
Snaidero USA has completed more than 200 projects across North America, many similarly upscale to The St. Regis with a sophisticated modern design, sweeping views of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan, and in walking distance to the Magnificent Mile – the city’s high-end shopping destination.
In business for decades, Snaidero USA offers the best of made-in-Italy luxury designs for the home and is the leader in North American imports of European kitchen cabinets. With its 20 showrooms, the family-owned and -operated company is the exclusive distributor of Snaidero’s kitchen cabinetry, designed by world-renown architects and designers and winners of 33 international awards.
