In this episode, host Ethan Abramson sits down with Tyreik Jackson, owner of the Hudson Valley, NY based company The Fixer LLC. Furniture maker, renovator, family man—Jackson is all those things, but not always in that order.
Jackson has six years of formal training in woodworking and carpentry through high school and college. When he decided to start his own company, Jackson had been working in the building trades for over 20 years. He knew he had the skills but he also knew that if he was going to do his own thing, then he was going to do it on his own terms.
