Peak Toolworks has made its second acquisition in the past year, buying Expert Die Inc. and now giving it 12 locations in North America.
With its recent acquisition of Dalton, GA-based Expert Die Inc., Peak Toolworks has strengthened its presence across the southern tier of the U.S. for its cutting and machining wood, metal, plastics and composites products.
The Expert Die acquisition brings to 12 the number of locations for Peak across North America, giving it added capabilities to service customers in Georgia, North Alabama, North Mississippi and Eastern Tennessee. This marks Peak’s second acquisition in the past year, following its February 2022 purchase of a facility in Elkhart, IN to expand its business in the Midwest.
“We are thrilled for this partnership with Eric and Dawn Barr and the entire team at Expert Die,” said Kerry Baskins, Peak CEO and president. “Expert Die has been in business since 1993 and over the past 30 years has established a very enviable reputation for quality and customer service.
“This enhances Peak’s ability to grow,” he added, “while enabling the company to continue providing its customers with superior service, exceeding customer expectations for quality and reliability with innovative products.”
“The partnership of Peak Toolworks and Expert Die will expand the capabilities of both companies and benefit our customers and employees,” said Expert Die’s Eric and Dawn Barr. “We are excited to bring the best of these manufacturers of engineered diamond and carbide cutting tools together offering the best in quality, service and cutting tools not only to the Southeast but nationwide.”
