West Wareham, MA—Architectural millwork firm Master Millwork LLC will invest $6 million to expand its business in West Wareham, MA.
Master Millwork is a commercial architectural millwork and cabinetry firm, offering construction services throughout New England and the Mid- Atlantic. It provides turn-key and custom-built interior finish carpentry services, specializing in senior living, multi-unit apartments, hotels, restaurants, libraries, and schools.
Jesse Kirby, President of Master Millwork, says the company plans to hire between 10 and 30 new employees once construction is complete on its facility, now slated for January 2022. Master Millwork will nearly triple in size, from 25,000 sq. ft. to 67,000 sq. ft. of facility space, adding state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. Solar power also will be incorporated into the project for green energy operations.
“Their expertise and long-standing commitment to providing high-quality carpentry services has earned them an invaluable reputation throughout New England,” says John Davison, VP at Rockland Trust, which is providing loans.
These loans will coincide with two Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 loans financed from South Eastern Economic Development Corporation. By working with SEED for an SBA 504 loan, Master Millwork will have 90 percent of the loan financed between SBA and Rockland Trust. Master Millwork also tapped the SBA Paycheck Protection Program during the COVID-19 downturn, receiving $1.9 million.
“South Eastern Economic Development is excited to be a part of the expansion of Master Millwork’s facility. Their quality work and reputation have resulted in contracts all along the East Coast,” says Lisa Holmes, Senior VP. “The owners’ skillsets learned in youth have blossomed into an incredible and growing venture.”
