Warroad, MN—Window and door firm Marvin expanded its Fargo, ND operations and named Christine Marvin Chief Marketing and Experience Officer (CMO), a newly created position.
With more than 7,000 employees across 16 cities in North America, Marvin says it will expand operations in Fargo with the addition of two new facilities: a 127,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing site and a 148,000-sq.-ft. distribution center to support growth.
Marvin currently operates six facilities with more than 1,700 employees in Fargo and West Fargo. To open by mid-year 2022, the new locations will add 150 new jobs, with a starting wage at $20 per hour. Marvin manufactures fiberglass window lines in Fargo, including the Essential (all fiberglass) and the Elevate (with wood interior surface). Fargo is also headquarters for Tecton Products, a 650–employee fiberglass extrusion business Marvin started as a partnership in 1990 and acquired in 2008.
Formerly VP strategy and design at Marvin, Christine Marvin is among the fourth-generation leading the family-owned business headquartered in Warroad, MN. Since 2006, she has worked and held leadership roles in sales, brand strategy, marketing communications, product management, and at the Marvin Design Lab.

Over the last five years, Christine has been immersed in the practice of human-centered design and innovation. A design enthusiast who is passionate about volunteering, Christine recently joined the WELL for Homes Advisory as a co-chair. Christine earned a B.A. in psychology from Macalester College and an MBA with a concentration in integrated marketing strategy from the University of Denver.
