Reston, VA – Cabinet manufacturers reported an increase in overall cabinet sales of 5.7% for February 2021 compared to February 2020, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Makers Monthly Trend of Business Report.
By major category, Custom Cabinet sales are up 9.4%, Semi-custom Cabinet sales increased 9.9%, and Stock Cabinet sales increased 2.2%.
When looking at the month-to-month comparison, cabinet sales rebounded. Overall sales were up 5.9% in February 2021 compared to January 2021. Custom sales were up 12.2%, semi-custom sales up 6.5, and stock sales increased 4.2%.
Survey participants include stock, semi-custom and custom cabinetry companies whose combined sales represent approximately 75% of the U.S. kitchen cabinet and bath vanity market. KCMA is the major trade association for kitchen cabinet and bath vanity manufacturers and key suppliers of goods and services to the industry. KCMA has been compiling and reporting industry sales data for more than forty years.
