X Style Doors Fit Industrial Farmhouse Design

WalzCraft’s Wyatt Oak X pattern door.

La Crosse, WI—WalzCraft has introduced made-to-order X pattern cabinet doors, which it describes as an easy way to add charm to kitchens, bathrooms, and furniture. This type of door is most common in Modern and Industrial Farmhouse design, and also complements traditional, Shaker, and transitional design schemes.

Custom options for these accent doors include a wide array of profile combinations, wood species, and finishes. The addition of vertical or horizontal Center Panel Face Routing (CPFR) pairs well with farmhouse or rustic styles. WalzCraft has also added several Signature Series Designs with this popular X detail to help visualize the finished product. All samples have shaker style profiles with mortise and tenon joinery and finish at 3/4″ or 1″ thick. The doors use full-thickness angled center stiles/rails to create the X pattern and cut triangular center panels to fit each opening.

X Pattern Cabinet Doors are not shown in the current WalzCraft catalog but are available as a custom engineered product. WalzCraft reviews all requests for these doors due to their complexity. Buyers are reminded that each product will have a unique look depending on the finished sizes. WalzCraft was among the exhibitors at IWF 2018.

Walzcraft’s 340,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility.

WalzCraft, a Midwest supplier to the North American Custom Cabinet Industry, was founded as Cabinet Factory Inc. in 1982, when it set out to supply cabinet makers and refacers with quality cabinet components. Though the cabinet and furniture industries were well established, outsourcing cabinet components was in its infancy. Starting with a few profiles and one wood species, its reputation for quality and service as a component manufacturer grew. WalzCraft currently has more than 340,000 square feet of manufacturing and administration space. It employs nearly 270 full-time workers, and runs multiple shifts to meet the demands of its customers.
