The latest in the company’s line of melters represents the newest technology in the field.
At the International Woodworking Fair this summer in Atlanta, Nordson’s FoamMelt FIT25 will be introduced with what the company calls “its latest breakthrough technology” in melters, which introduce an inert gas into hotmelt adhesives in a recirculating loop to create a foamed adhesive.
“FoamMelt FIT25 offers enhanced foam processing and delivers high-quality foamed adhesive on demand for a wide range of bonding and sealing applications,” the company said in announcing the new product. “Foamed adhesives excel at gap filling, stabilization and bonding, and can reduce material costs.
“The FoamMelt FIT25 is designed to provide optimal foamed adhesive delivery, specifically tailored for woodworking industry needs.” It said the new product “as the hub of a complete system features improved foam process control and exceptional product serviceability, and processes low-to-medium viscosity foamed material.” It is available in two configurations: standard and advanced.
“With an eye on sustainability, the FIT25 supports production and adhesive usage efficiencies, making it an ideal choice for leading woodworking manufacturers,” the company said in inviting IWF attendees to visit its booth at Building B, B425. “Discover how Nordson continues to push the boundaries of innovation, delivering unparalleled quality and performance in foam melter technology.”
