After the immense popularity of Doug Mockett’s Invisible Wireless Charger, we had a lot of requests for something similar with a bigger charging signal. Ask and you shall receive.
The WCS10 does not need to be installed in the bottom of the surface, but rather on it. Simply attach to the bottom of the surface wherever you desire, plug it in, and place your phone on the other side of the surface to charge. No drilling necessary. Works on tables from 19/32” up to 1/3/16” thick.
This allows wireless charging on a desktop without having to cut a grommet hole into the surface. Place a phone directly on the desk to charge. Install the wireless charging transmitter under the desk, then plug transmitter into a power source and it’s ready to charge!
• Charge Wirelessly without interrupting your work surface
• Works on tables from 19/32” up to 1 3/16” thick
• For iPhone™ 12 and newer, table thickness is 3/4″ MAX.
• Indicator light and beeping sound confirm a successful pairing
Indicator light on the transmitter will turn green when plugged in signifying the unit is ready to use. When a phone is charging, that light will change from green to blue. The decal (included) is designed to affix to the surface directly above the transmitter underneath to give users a target zone.
Note: Charger works on all surfaces (including wood, stone, etc.), but will not transmit through metal surfaces. Do not cover ventilation on unit. Do not place metal objects or bank cards between the charger and phone to avoid damage.
About Doug Mockett
The company started as a one man operation out of the garage in Manhattan Beach, CA. If a customer called to order some grommets in 1980 while the washing machine was running, Doug may have mentioned that he’s out in the plant and will have to call back from the office. The early days were filled with some laughable memories.
In nearly 40 years of operations, we’ve witnessed substantial growth, taking the company out of the garage, from one employee to a handful of employees and into the 21st century with a new facility that continues to grow with a staff of over 70 employees. From one grommet in two colors to now over 5,000 SKUs, plus the ability to have virtually any item custom made to your exact specifications.
Our Annual Design Competition is now in its fourth decade and continues to serve as a source of inspiration for new ideas. New innovative design concepts continue to drive the market and create an ever-changing architectural landscape. As a result, our little contest has turned into a global forum with entries submitted from all over the world. Your ideas help shape the future of design, and your loyalty as a customer helps us to provide the best in architectural hardware.
