Atlanta, GA—Shaper Tools will sponsor the IWF Woodworking Influencers Lounge at IWF 2022.
Based in San Francisco, CA with offices in Stuttgart, Germany, Shaper Tools was founded in 2012 with a mission of developing a revolutionary line of computer-augmented power tools, beginning first with a handheld CNC router called Origin. Origin won a Challengers Award® at the last IWF, and Shaper Tools (Booth A10630) has entered its latest innovation, Workstation, in the 2022 IWF Challengers Award competition.
IWF announced in May that it would stage its first Woodworking Influencers Lounge (Booth A10620) during IWF 2022, taking place August 23-26, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.
The Woodworking Influencers Lounge will serve as a gathering spot for woodworking social media personalities to meet with their thousands of fans during the show. Woodworking influencers have become an important force in communicating trends in technology, tools, materials, and techniques for producing furniture, cabinetry, and casegoods to hundreds of thousands of woodworking professionals.
The IWF Woodworking Influencers Lounge will allow followers to meet these experts in-person, on the show floor, where they can access some of the newest technology and materials they follow, in a real-life setting.
The Woodworking Influencers Lounge (Booth A10620) will be located adjacent to the IWF Network News (Booth A10618). The Lounge will be moderated by Bill Esler, editor of IWF Network News, and scheduled appearances by influencers will be emceed by Ethan Abramson, whose Building a Furniture Brand podcast is included in each issue of IWF Network News.
IWF is reaching out to woodworking influencers now, and they are also invited to register to be included in the roster of personalities appearing at the show.
A daily schedule of appearances by influencers will be posted in advance of the IWF show opening. Each afternoon, a key influencer will be interviewed for a live stream on Instagram by Abramson, who will emcee the appearances by influencers. As part of the schedule, Shaper Tools will demonstrate woodworking techniques and projects produced using its tools and technologies, including Shaper Origin and Workstation.
