In 1867, Wilhelm Emil Fein founded a company to manufacture physical and electrical equipment where his son Emil Fein invented the first electric hand drill almost 30 years later in 1895. This invention paved the way for highly reliable power tools, which FEIN still manufactures at its site in Germany.
Fein’s roots are in metal fabrication. But as the inventor of the oscillating Multitool, with its quick change tooling and a variety of innovative sawing and finishing uses, Fein (IWF Booth A10638) offers a broad range of power tools specially designed for the woodworking industry. Along with Multitool, this includes drilling and screw driving devices, and dust extraction systems for its power tools. Fein has also added cordless power tools to its lineup of corded devices.
Fein also operates an OEM business making professional power tools in all sectors. A Private Label division offers most of its product portfolio in the product groups: OEM flange-mounted motors and OEM PowerDrive motors, Private Label accessories and Private Label power tools. Through its core business, Fein offers tools and accessories for all areas of interior work, including the world’s number one oscillating multitool, the Multimaster, and some of the quietest dust extractors, including HEPA and compact models. FEIN also offers the largest Starlock blade accessory lineup in the industry.
