RAPTOR® (IWF Booth C2209) composite staples, nails, and specialty fasteners can be cut and sanded without damaging router bits, saw blades and sanding belts, and provide complete corrosion resistance while accepting stains, or paints to match your finished products.
RAPTOR® NEW XF Material Composite Fasteners provide better drivability than RAPTOR® standard fasteners. RAPTOR® XF fasteners are recommended for harder substrates when RAPTOR® standard nails are not meeting your expectations.
“Many woodworking professionals have indicated the need for better performance from RAPTOR® when working with harder woods,” says Pam Tucker Ph.D., Vice President of Raptor. “After much research and product testing, we have developed a new formulation we call RAPTOR® XF. RAPTOR® XF improves drivability up to 50% in harder woods when compared to our standard RAPTOR® product without sacrificing the benefits gained with our standard products. These new products will help our customers realize improved work efficiencies, less down time and realized cost savings”
Starting today we will be offering this XF formulation in 1”, 1 ¼”, 1 ½” for 15 gauge finished nails and ⅝”, ¾” for 16 gauge finished pins. These will all work with existing tools and will be offered in our standard box and case quantities.
UTILITY COMPOSITES, Inc. maker of RAPTOR® plastic composite nails and staples is a quality driven company that is proud to offer world class products and fastening solutions to a broad spectrum of market and industry segments.
