Today’s woodworking industry is powered by innovation and transformed by technology. Big ideas that get their start in woodworking become the essential products that help drive the U.S. economy. For 31 days in October, Woodworking Manufacturing Month (WWMM) celebrates the power of big ideas—and showcases innovation at work in every corner of the woodworking industry.
Educating the Next Generation, and the Industry
WWMM partner Air Handling Systems is speaking at high schools to promote careers in manufacturing and woodworking as well as working with elected leaders to solicit funding for creating new manufacturing educational programs.
Safety Speed, for the second year in a row, has been hosting school tours and educational events throughout WWMM. Likewise Cefla, is hosting educational events on a broad spectrum of entry-level automation as well as robotic solutions custom to fit to production lines. And Stiles Machinery, in upcoming events, is showcasing how robotics is advancing overall automation and production efficiency in woodworking manufacturing.
WWMM also triggers pricing specials, and new products to learn about from Air Handling Systems, Weima, Nederman, Peak Toolworks, Blind Stapler, Timber Wolf, NewCNC, NordFab, CloserPro Software, DVUV, OVVO, and Allmoxy.
