New, smoother formulations will be the stars of the new powder coatings the company is set to introduce this summer.
“Newer, smoother, better.” That’s how IFS Coatings describes its new line-up of powder coatings for HDF, MDF, hardwoods and other engineered wood products that it will introduce at the International Woodworking Fair this August in Atlanta. “We are excited to showcase these new formulations and colors,” said Todd Gragg, business development manager for the Gainesville, TX-based company. “Our team of powder coating experts will be available to discuss powder for heat sensitive substrates, talk about the manufacturing efficiencies that can be reaped by adding powder to your process, and the improvements in your sustainability footprint that are possible with the new PureClad product line.”
The new formulations will be shown in multiple colors, all of which are achieved in only one coat of powder. In addition, the latest tough, moisture resistant primers that will accept a powder or liquid topcoat will all be available, the company said.
IFS Coatings is one of the largest privately owned powder coatings company in the country and supplies powder coatings for metal and heat sensitive substrates to industries across the country. Its product range includes powder coatings for the architectural, automotive, appliance, furniture, hardware, interiors and retail markets.
