Garnica is introducing the newest innovations in its family of plywood. Founded over 81 years ago in Spain, the global leader in sustainable plywood is committed to the planet, health and safety, and durability in its plywood products.
Garnica (IWF Booth C1546) says it challenges the ordinary by reimagining plywood as a 100 percent sustainable product, one that is offers maximum sustainability and lightness due to its composition using fast-growing European plantation wood.
One innovation it will present at its booth is Fireshield Plywood (see video above), which challenges flames and is modified by an innovative treatment that renders the entire panel exceptionally fire resistant, certified by the most demanding tests even after sanding or machining. Fireshield has excellent mechanical properties, CE1 structural certification and a wide variety of formats available to suit any type of project. This plywood has received the highest performance rating, ASTM-E-84 B-s1-dO.
Another offering, Garnica Duraply, is a plywood panel resistant to water damage, insects, and mould, and is backed by a 15-year guarantee. Duraply challenges the toughest elements of nature, so projects will last for years to come, avoiding costly repairs.
Naturbind™ is Garnica’s plywood line using adhesives made without the use of formaldehyde. This new adhesive is developed based on a natural polymer that improves indoor air quality thanks to its exclusive formula. Products with Naturbind™ adhesive comply with the most rigorous indoor air quality standards, making homes with these materials safer and more comfortable, directly, and positively impacting people’s health.
These are just a few of Garnica’s latest innovations, which will be on display along with its Performance Ultra-Smooth and Ultra-light Poplar that continue to challenge the ordinary in creating the best plywood on the market.
Garnica, a leader in manufacturing exceptional plywood solutions with sustainability at its core, serves the needs of more than 600 clients in 45 countries. Visit Booth Number C1546, Building C, Level 1 to meet your new family of plywood products.
