Flamex (IWF Booth B6536) introduced Spark Detection and Extinguishing Systems for sawdust collection ducts to North America in 1977. The Flamex Spark Detection and Extinguishing System has been installed in thousands of woodworking facilities to prevent dust fires and explosions in dust collectors and air filtration equipment. It was the first system of it type to gain a Fire Marshall Approval.
Available in Fall 2022 from Flamex (IWF Booth B6536), the CLUNID FMZ 6000 Control Panel Series provides a simple to use touch screen interface for all FLAMEX System applications. Advantages include critical function redundancy for increased reliability, automatic plausibility checks to prevent user errors and greater event memory (message history). New communication protocols allow use with a wider range of detectors and actuators. Individual modules can be replaced in the panel during operation so no shutdown for modifications are required. The 7″ full color touch display allows intuitive, rapid navigation for all events. FM Global Approved.
