Dynabrade Acquires Key Supplier, Manth Mfg.

Clarence, NY—Dynabrade says it has recently completed the acquisition of one of its strategic suppliers, Manth Mfg. Inc., located in Tonawanda, NY.

“This is an excellent opportunity for Dynabrade to expand the scope of our vertical integration strategy,” says Dynabrade President, Michael Buffamonti. “Manth has been a legacy business partner of ours for over 45 years and we are excited to enhance our operational and financial flexibility that will allow us to continue to grow as a company. This acquisition will strategically position us to build out the manufacturing team and further scale our production.”

Privately owned Manth Mfg. was founded in 1962 as a tool and die shop, and has since evolved into a high-tech production machine shop with over 40 CNC turning, milling, and grinding machines, providing high precision machined components and value-added services. The company employs the latest machining technologies to produce the highest quality precision machined components.

Dynabrade Inc., founded by Walter Welsch in 1969, specializes in innovative design and manufacturing of portable abrasive power tools and related accessories. Corporate and U.S. headquarters and manufacturing are housed in a 150,000-sq.- ft. facility in Clarence, NY, with subsidiaries located in Luxembourg and India. Dynabrade is a global manufacturer with an application-trained, staff sales force doing business in 90 countries and speaking 26 languages. Dynabrade, which will exhibit at IWF 2022 in Booth B7937, produces woodworking tools designed for use on fine furniture, cabinets, and other woodworking applications such as sanding flat panels, edges, or contours. Dynabrade also produces dust collection and downdraft table systems which help to create safer working environments.
