Precision Airflow Gates Latest from Ecogate

Ecogate, Inc. has introduced Precision Airflow Gates, a new blast gate with granular open and close control.

Precision Airflow Gates, the newest introduction from Ecogate Inc., feature granular open and close control and provide excellent control over airflow precision, the North Hollywood, CA-based company said.

“Precision Airflow gates are the next logical step in our approach to design and install on-demand, energy-saving industrial ventilation systems, said Ales Litomisky, Ecogate’s CEO. “These gates can be used to self-balance ventilation systems, as bleed gates for maintaining minimum transport air velocities or for dust collection where too high air velocity will collect active material, and too low air velocities does not collect all produced dust.”

Features and benefits of Precision Airflow Gates include a precision motor powered by a 24V DC gear motor, position encoding resolution 0.2-degree increments across the full 90-degree movement, a versatile design that is compatible with the company’s Rotating Blade and Butterfly-Style Gates, and real-time monitoring equipped with a pressure sensor and Modbus RTU communication that measures pressure, air velocity and air volume.
