Schaefferstown, PA – Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry, which has been doing business east of the Mississippi river for 52 years, has entered into agreements with two independent representative firms to cover much of the western U.S., its first formal territory expansion in 10 years.
The company has partnered with Bluewater Building Products to represent its products in the Mountain West region, including the states of Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. It has also partnered with Infinity Sales Force to represent the company’s products in California, Nevada and Texas.
“We are happy to be able to fulfill the demand for Plain & Fancy product in these territories, which have been steadily requesting our cabinetry for many years,” says Brian Yahn, sales manager for the Schaefferstown, PA-based cabinetry manufacturer. Two independent representative firms will now handle sales in much of the western U.S.
Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry was founded by John Achey in his garage in 1968, opening its first manufacturing plant in 1972 in Richland, PA. Exponential growth led to establishment of a much larger facility in Schaefferstown, PA in 1984, and in 2008, finishing operations expanded to include a new 44,000-sq.-ft. building, with an automated Cefla finishing line. Artisan-rendered hand finishing was blended with state-of-the-art finishing technology.
