The long-time company veteran will manage multiple areas for the New York State-based company.
Christopher J. Hacker has been with the parent company, James L. Taylor Manufacturing Co., for 35 years and in his new role will oversee sales, marketing, service and growth for the JLT Clamps machinery line for North America, which is manufactured at its Poughkeepsie, NY headquarters.
“This product line was designed to provide high quality, American made clamping systems for the small to medium-sized custom wood and door shops,” the company said in announcing Hacker’s appointment. “The brainchild of Michael Burdis that began in 1995 has grown to be a successful known brand in the industry with its signature ‘JLT Blue’ machines.”
James Taylor is planning on showing at the upcoming IWF 2026 show next summer in Atlanta with an expanded presence that will showcase all four of its machinery lines: James L. Taylor Mfg., Cameron Automation, JLT Clamps and Ultimizers Systems.
