Executive Cabinetry Lines Up $8M Credit Facility

Simpsonville, SC—Executive Cabinetry, LLC closed on an $8 million credit facility with Huntington Business Credit. Executive Cabinetry, based in Simpsonville, SC, was acquired by Gridiron Capital in 2011. It is the parent of Tedd Wood Fine Cabinetry, Mifflintown, PA, acquired in 2013, and Designers Choice Cabinetry, Rockledge, FL, acquired in 2016.

Gridiron Capital, a middle market private equity firm headquartered in New Canaan, CT, says the $8 million was used to refinance existing debt, and to provide ongoing working capital growth financing. Designer’s Choice, Tedd Wood Fine Cabinetry, and Executive Cabinetry form the Essential Cabinetry Brands portfolio, which offers a full line of full access, framed, and inset cabinetry at the stock, semi-custom, and custom cabinetry price points.

Executive Cabinetry (above) encompasses 226,000 square feet of vertically integrated manufacturing space, with components constructed on-site from the raw materials through to the finished product. Designer’s Choice, Inc. was founded by Jim Murfin in 1978. The company manufactures stock and semi-custom cabinetry with a wide variety of stains, paints, foils, textured melamine, and polyester finishes. Tedd Wood was founded the Pannebaker family over 60 years ago.
