Boca Raton, FL—Artisan Design Group acquired Distinctive Kitchens & Baths, from its owner Adam Canter.
Also doing business as semi-custom cabinetmaker Eurocraft Cabinets and as architectural millwork firm Distinctive Millwork, the newly acquired businesses are co-located in Boca Raton, FL. Artisan Design Group is headquartered in Dallas.
Distinctive Kitchens & Bath’s architectural woodworking operation, Distinctive Millwork, is a member of the Architectural Woodwork Institute. Catering to a national clientele, its focus is large scale commercial cabinetry projects and ultra-high-end residential cabinetry. It’s become one of South Florida’s premier full service manufacturers of millwork, custom cabinetry and interior doors.
“Our philosophy is simple; we use traditional construction methods while utilizing state of the art computer aided design and manufacturing processes, to produce a high quality product efficiently and effectively,” says Canter.
Dallas-based Artisan Design Group is a 2,500-employee provider of design, procurement, and installation services for flooring, cabinets, and countertops, serving homebuilders, multi-family developers and institutional property owners. Acquired in 2019 by the Sterling Group, it was formed in 2016 through the combination of Floors Inc. and Malibu Floors.
Listed in the Inc. 5000 for 2021, Artisan Design Group has completed 12 acquisitions over the past two years, including the August 2021 buyout of Builder’s Alliance, a Houston-based firm said to be the largest independent supplier and installer of cabinets in Texas. Artisan as completed 20 acquisitions since its founding in 2016.
