New Senotec Sensors Detect Levels of PUR Glues as Well as Other Liquids and Granulates

BACK TO NEWS

November 4, 2022 | Press Release

Senotec Sensors has been serving the wood engineering, packaging, bookbinding, automotive, footwear, and many other industries for over 25 years. At IWF 2022 Senotec announced that t is expanding further into the North American market with stock keeping in Sanborn, NY and an experienced local support team with over 50 years of experience in level sensing.

The new S-series sensors are level detection sensors featuring a metal probe, unique non-stick coating, and tapered design. They can be used in narrower containers due to their thinner design. Mounting can be done either vertically or horizontally. The sensor will detect liquids, granulates, or material in mixed states at temperatures up to 482°F / 250°C.

These sensors are ideal for PUR glues. They can also reliably detect other non-conductive media such as: hot glues, adhesives, waxes, oils, greases, etc. All Senotec sensors can be used for low-level time-filled, or high-level filling shutoff systems.

S-series sensors come in a range of probe lengths from 15 mm to 85 mm. The 15 mm length model with a right-angle cable has an overall length of only 65 mm! This sensor can fit into very small containers in confined spaces. The M18 threaded body on these sensors simplifies installation. The two included nuts will securely mount the sensor.

S-series sensors can be paired with CLS, CLC, CSV, or DLC controllers with a variety of transistor and relay outputs. CLS controllers are DC voltage with a relay output. CLC controllers are DC voltage, constructed with robust aluminum housings, and include high alarm level control or hysteresis control. CSV controllers offer either a time delay or support for 3 sensors in a single controller.

AC and DC versions are available. DLC controllers are DC voltage, with all aluminum housings, and an M12 connector. The DLC-22 can be used to connect two sensors. The two sensors can be adjusted independently.
