IWF 2012 Exhibit Space Assignment Priority System
Initial exhibit space assignment for past IWF Exhibitors is based on a Priority Point System, which is determined by seniority and size of exhibit space. To be considered for priority space assignment applications must be returned to IWF by March 28, 2011.
The IWF Board of Directors has decided that all companies that exhibited in IWF 2010 will be awarded a seniority point for the show year regardless if they reduced the size of their booth space from their original contract. In the past, if a company had to reduce the size of its booth space after the contract had been executed, a seniority point was not awarded.
Seniority groups are determined by the number of years a company has been a contracted exhibitor in IWF. Currently, the highest seniority group is 21. For the IWF 2012 space assignment process, seniority groups will be divided into two sections: those that did not reduce their original contracted space in IWF 2010 (Section A) and those that reduced their original contracted space in IWF 2010 (Section B).
The calculation of the priority points that determine the order in which booth applications are assigned within a seniority group remains the same - the amount of paid booth space multiplied by the seniority group number determines the sequence the applications will be assigned within that group.
For IWF 2012, booth space applications from seniority group 21 section A will be assigned first according to their priority points from the above calculation. Next, companies in seniority group 21, section B will be assigned according to their priority points. After all of the applications in seniority group 21 are assigned, the process will be repeated for each seniority group through group 1.
This Exhibit Space Assignment Priority System sets forth the policy of IWF and does not constitute a contract or create any rights, contract or otherwise, on behalf of any Exhibitor. IWF reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Space Assignment Priority System at any time.
