VITAP ANNOUNCES IMPROVEMENTS TO ECLIPSE CONTOUR EDGEBANDER

Vitap S.p.A. and Atlantic Machinery Corp. has just released information on the improved version of the Eclipse, the award-winning semi-automatic contour edgebander.

Vitap, the manufacturer since 2005 of the original and AWFS 2013 Visionary Award winner Eclipse contour edgebander, has introduced new technology for the utilization of PUR glue system. The new machines will have a dual glue system, meaning they can use BOTH conventional edgebanding glue AND the PUR system, with just minimal set up time.

To the best of our knowledge, this will be the first time that a semi-automatic contour edgebander will be able to utilize the PUR glue system -- something that until now has been restricted to conventional, in-line edgebanders or large and very expensive contour edgebanders available in the market place.

The Eclipse is designed with an integrated trimming unit and is able to process large or small panels without extra setup. It can apply straight or shaped (concave and convex) edges with great versatility and ease of use and requires a minimal footprint in the workspace.

If you are interested in updating and improving your contour banding capabilities or if you are looking for the ULTIMATE MACHINE that offers maximum flexibility, a perfect butt joint every time, and is backed by Atlantic Machinery Corp. and Vitap S.p.A., who have a combined sales and service experience of OVER 90 YEARS, please contact us to learn more about it.

The machine will be displayed at IWF in the Atlantic Machinery / Vitap booth #6728, together with our 2016 Challengers Award Finalist, Vitap’s Point Acoustic CNC drilling machine.
