Progress Remarkable - Business as Usual for IWF 2008

With repair crews working around the clock seven days a week, the Georgia World Congress Center is back on its feet and already hosting trade shows and industry events. "I've been there and have seen it for myself. It's amazing and gratifying to see what everyone has done in such short time" commented Charles R. (Tommy) Tomkins,President of Cresent Fine Furniture and IWF 2008 Chairman.

Georgia World Congress Center officials are reporting that all three buildings - A, B, and C will be operating by the end of April. There are a number of shows and events that will take place in the Congress Center prior to IWF's full occupancy of the facility August 20-23, 2008. " We are grateful and appreciative of everyone's efforts to make this happen" Tomkins said. ;"We're looking forward to another great IWF in Atlanta - as usual".

Record Number of Entries Into IWF 2008 Challengers Award®

ATLANTA, GA, USA — IWF 2008 and the Challengers Distinguished Achievement Award® will showcase the best the industry has to offer in new technology. Ninety-three companies have entered a record one hundred and twenty-six entries to compete for the coveted Challengers Distinguished Achievement Award®, making the 2008 competition the largest ever for entries. “Throughout manufacturing history, innovation is the key ingredient to continued success in our business,” said Charles R.
